Our Story
Coastal Roots Salon is a family of experienced and talented haircare professionals owned and led by Lynn and Todd Osborne. Lynn Osborne has been making people look and feel good as a professional stylist for over 25 years. Check out these words straight from Lynn herself:
"I was raised as a 'military brat' in San Diego, California. I grew up watching my aunt work her magic behind a salon chair. I saw as she carefully tended to and nurtured those special client relationships. I often joined her in making house calls as her clients fell ill or began to age. First we'd deliver a meal; second she would do their hair. She put so much love into her art and those clients that became extended parts of her family.
Fast forward, a few college semesters later, a young marriage to a military man of my own, and I knew I had a higher calling in life. I delved head first into my road to becoming a stylist. Through our travels, I became a licensed stylist in four states, receiving advanced education with industry greats such as: L'Oreal Professionel Color, Redken, Framesi, Matrix, Goldwell, and ISO Color. I'm also a top-selling Certified SHE Hair USA Fusion Hair Extension Artist since 2005!
I have an intuitive talent and passion for making people not only look good,but feel good. It is a skill I've worked hard to craft over my 23 years in the industry. (Seven of those years, my husband and I owned and operated a former "Best of Chesapeake" Salon.)
My family has called Chesapeake home since 2001, and I'm a very proud mom to two amazing teens! I truly look forward to meeting you and assisting you in achieving your hair needs."
